The History of Latin Dance can be traced its origin way back to 14th and 15th century. The European Conquerors in the likes of Cristoforo Colombo, Cristobal Colon, Hernando de Soto and others conquistadores imported negro slaves from various parts of West Africa.
The Negros use to dance to the beat of the drums and by tapping their feet as their recreational activity and as a way of relaxation from their heavy work.
